GIRLS ON HBO: Season 5 premiering February 21

Created by Lena Dunham, GIRLS is a comedy-drama that follows the lives of four twenty-something women living in New York City. Critically acclaimed for its raw nature, humor and refreshing tone, GIRLS portrays "real female friendships, the angst of emerging adulthood, nuanced relationships, sexuality, self-esteem, body image, intimacy in a tech-savvy world that promotes distance, the bloodlust of surviving New York on very little money and the modern parenting of entitled children, among many other things—all laced together with humor and poignancy".

TOGETHERNESS ON HBO: Season 2 premiering February 21

TOGETHERNESS is a comedic look at four middle-aged people reconciling their dreams with their current personal and professional lives in Los Angeles. Brett and Michelle are a married couple in their mid-late 30s struggling to adapt their relationship to the pressures of parenthood. Brett's best friend is Alex, an overweight, out-of-work actor debating if he still has a shot at being successful. Alex connects with Michelle's sister, Tina, a free spirit grappling with being single and getting older. Each adult fights to sustain his or her own passion without skirting responsibility. As the two couples find themselves living under one roof, TOGETHERNESS explores the significance behind every day moments.

ANIMALS ON HBO: New series premiering February 5

Created by Phil Matarese and Mike Luciano and produced by Duplass Brothers Television, ANIMALS focuses on the downtrodden creatures native to Earth’s least-habitable environment: New York City. Whether it’s lovelorn rats, gender-questioning pigeons or aging bedbugs in the midst of a midlife crisis, the awkward small talk, moral ambiguity and existential woes of non-human urbanites prove startlingly similar to our own.
