In February 2013, MCTV started using the slogan “We go the extra smile.” It is intended to communicate to everyone that we are “the” service company for broadband telecommunications needs: Internet, TV and Phone.
Everyone at MCTV tries to do precisely that: go the extra smile for customers every day. We do that in a hundred different ways; answering phones quickly, arriving on time, spending a few extra minutes to inspect equipment, putting on heavy gloves and heading out during a snow storm to find a broken line. Always, with that thought in mind of going the extra smile.
The reason it is so important is that we operate in a very competitive industry. There are lots of companies that want your business. Some are cheaper, some are bigger. MCTV sets itself apart by being better. And, “better” means more than just reliable, affordable Internet, TV and Phone service. It extends to being better on the personal level with our customers. That’s why we have local offices, so you can come to see us if you choose. That’s why we have a local Call Center, so you know you are speaking to someone who understands this community. All of our employees are hired and trained by us (no third-party contractors or call centers) so you know the person who helps you today will be here tomorrow.
Don’t get us wrong. We don’t do this for fun. Modern broadband communications is a serious business. But, as Ray Kroc, the founder of McDonald’s put it “look after the customer and the business will take care of itself.” That’s our goal: to look after you by going the extra smile. We know that if we can succeed at that, our business will flourish here at home among our neighbors.
