MCTV to Air Massillon-Akron Hoban State Finals Game LIVE on Pay-Per-View

 

MASSILLON, Ohio (November 19, 2020) – MCTV is pleased to announce that the Friday, November 20th, Massillon vs. Akron Hoban high school state finals game will be available on TV to MCTV cable TV subscribers. The game will be aired live on MCTV’s pay-per-view channels 309 and 308 for $10.

 

“In addition to the game being live-streamed on OHSAA.tv, we’re pleased to offer this pay-per-view option to MCTV TV customers that would prefer to watch on their TV,” stated Katherine Gessner, president of MCTV. “While I know many Tiger fans wish they could watch from the stands, watching from the comfort of your own home is the next best thing!”

 

Pay-per-view services are available on set-top boxes to the majority of MCTV TV subscribers. The game will be aired on channels 309 in HD and 308 in SD.

 

Pay-per-view is accessible to customers that have specific set-top boxes on their TV sets. The easiest way to determine if you have access to pay-per-view is to check for these channels in your interactive program guide. These are labeled as ‘pay-per-view’ in the channel information.

 

Customers can order directly from their remote control by navigating to the game on the program guide and following the prompts. The $10 charge will appear on the customer’s next invoice.

 

Customers should call 330-833-4134 if they experience issues or are unsure if their set-top box is capable of ordering pay-per-view. Set-top boxes are available from MCTV for a variety of prices. Customers are encouraged to order the event in advance of game time to avoid any congestion issues.
