MCTV enhances user experience with higher speeds of two packages for no additional cost.
MCTV, a leading Internet, TV and Phone provider in Stark and Wayne Counties, announced today a significant increase in speeds for its two fastest home Internet packages. Residential customers with 20 Mbps or 50 Mbps Internet packages will now see increased upload and download speeds.
“We are continually working to provide the best services for our customers,” said Robert Gessner, president of MCTV. “As our customers’ Internet usage continues to increase we are constantly working to improve our network and implement the latest technologies to deliver the best Internet experience possible.”
At no additional cost to customers, MCTV has doubled the download speed of its fastest package from 50 Mbps to 100 Mbps. Upload speed of this package has increased from 3 Mbps to 5 Mbps. The 20 Mbps package has more than doubled from 20 Mbps to 50 Mbps download. Upload speeds have been doubled from 1.5 Mbps to 3 Mbps.

MCTV has been upgrading its network during the past several months in anticipation of this speed increase. Existing customers with these packages have The higher speeds are now activated for all existing customers and are now available to all new customers. The 2.5 Mbps and 10 Mbps packages remain the same.
