When will MCTV officially be the Internet and cable TV provider in Bellaire?

MCTV became the official Internet and cable TV provider on April 1, 2020.

What does MCTV as my new provider mean for my current service?

Initially, you will not notice any changes to your TV service; the channel lineup will remain the same. We’ve started to make improvements to the reliability of your Internet service, and those upgrades will continue over the next few months, as we install new equipment and update the service. Our goal is to provide you, our newest customers, with faster Internet speeds and improved TV service.

When will MCTV officially be the Internet and cable TV provider in West Virginia and Powhatan Point?

MCTV became the official Internet and cable TV provider effective June 1, 2020.

I’ve seen MCTV trucks in the area. What are they doing?

We are making technical improvements and repairs throughout the area. These may lead to occasional service interruptions, and we apologize for the inconvenience. These necessary upgrades are part of a system-wide plan to improve service and reliability.

How will I know if there are any changes and/or updates that might affect my service?

We will notify you before any changes occur to your services, channel lineups or prices.

Will my credit card machine work?

Yes. MCTV Business Phone service delivers an analog dial tone for compatibility with credit card machines. In very rare instances, our service may not be compatible with your equipment due to its age or technology.

Can I use my existing phones and phone equipment?

Yes in most cases. Some older phone equipment may not be compatible with our Phone system.

Analog phones will NOT work with MCTV Phone service.

Do you offer hunt groups or rollover service?

Yes.

Will my Phone service work if there's a power outage?

If your office loses power, you phone service will not work. We recommend you purchase an Uninterrupted Power Supply to provide battery backup power in the event of a power outage.

In the event of a power outage, call us at 330-833-4134/330-345-8114 and we can forward your main phone line to a cell phone or other number until power is restored. Once power has been restored, simply dial *73 from your business line to deactivate call forwarding.

Can I have additional listings in the phone book?

Business Phone customers receive one free straight-line listing in the local Yellow Pages in one category of your choice and one free straight-line listing in the local business White Pages.

Can I choose my long distance carrier?

Yes but why would you? Our Business Phone service includes a generous amount of long distances minutes to the US and US Territories. Additional minutes over you allotted amount are charged at $0.015/minute.

Do you offer voicemail?

We offer two voicemail options for customers – Standard Voicemail and Elite Voicemail.

What are the long distance rates for MCTV Business Phone service?

I don’t have a Netflix subscription. Can I still use the app?

You will be able to open the Netflix app but you can only watch content with an active streaming Netflix subscription.

Will my office's security system work with MCTV Business Phone service?

MCTV Business Phone service delivers an analog dial tone for compatibility with security and fire alarm systems. In very rare instances, our service may not be compatible with your equipment due to its age or technology.
