  Emergency service technicians are available from 8am to midnight, Monday-Friday; 9am to midnight, Saturday and 12pm to 9pm, Sunday. They correct problems with your existing service or equipment.

Emergency technicians should not be asked to add service, delete service, rearrange wiring or add new equipment. Requests of this nature should be made through the business office or via the New Service Request form under Contact Us.

We are responsible for the maintenance and repair of all wire and equipment located outside of your home. This includes trunk and distribution cable, taps, home service drops and ground blocks. MCTV is also responsible for the maintenance and repair of provided equipment. You are responsible for all other wiring and equipment inside your home. This includes, but is not limited to, wire, connectors, splitters, TVs, VCRs, DVD players, video games and any other active or passive home electronic equipment you have connected.

Try to determine the cause of a problem before you call. If the problem is with your TV or other electronic device, contact the manufacturer or the store where you bought the equipment. If the problem is with your in-home wiring or connectors, you can choose to fix the problem yourself, pay MCTV to fix the problem or hire an electrician to make the repairs.

If you believe the problem is outside of your home, call MCTV. A technician will check the signal level at the point where the service enters your home. If the signal level is adequate, they will check the operation of the converter (if we supplied one). If the technician needs to enter your home, a person of legal age must be present.

During office hours, your call will be answered by office personnel. After hours, your call will be recorded. Emergency service technicians check the recordings regularly and will promptly return your call. Please remember to leave your name, address and phone number. The emergency service technicians cannot return your call unless you leave your phone number.

MCTV attempts to complete all service maintenance calls on the day they are received, unless otherwise requested. If you are not home when our emergency service technician returns your call, they will try again later. In some cases, this may be the next morning. If you are not home when the technicians arrive, we will leave a card asking you to call the office and schedule another service call.
